About the Position
The Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto invites applications for up to two full-time teaching stream positions in the area of Computer Science. The appointments will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Undergraduate teaching
- Managing teaching assistants
- Creation of course materials
- Curriculum development
- Service to the department
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Alternatively, a Masters in Computer Science or related field with 18 months of excellent teaching experience and demonstrated excellent scholarly or creative professional activity
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level
- Commitment to excellence pedagogical inquiry
- Interest in teaching-related scholarly activities
