We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role involves receiving, handling, and shipping materials and parts while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
About the Job
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as requested.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged items to the Supervisor immediately.
- Utilize equipment such as scales and scanners to accurately count and sort materials.
- Perform all tasks according to documented safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
What You'll Do
- Receive and unpack materials, checking for damage or discrepancies.
- Count and sort materials using scales and scanners.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages to the Supervisor.
- Follow company guidelines for reporting and resolving inventory issues.
- Participate in warehouse cleanliness initiatives to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-12 months of relevant experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
