Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner in Oncology to join our team at BC Cancer. As a General Practitioner in Oncology, you will work collaboratively with Medical Oncologists and other medical specialists, nurses, and clerical staff in an interdisciplinary working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ambulatory care to patients on therapy and in follow-up
  • Support inpatient care as needed
  • Collaborate with Medical Oncologists and other medical specialists to provide comprehensive cancer care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements:

  • Current licensure to practice as a family physician in British Columbia
  • Meet the requirements for appointment as a member of the medical staff of the BC Cancer Agency and Surrey Memorial Hospital
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
