About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Jitterbugs Childcare Inc. As an integral part of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the development of children
  • Support educators in maintaining accurate records and submitting written observations on children
  • Engage children in activities that foster learning and socialization, such as storytelling, songs, and crafts
  • Prepare snacks and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to establish guidelines for behaviour and address any concerns
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent position with 40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
