About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Jitterbugs Childcare Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote children's growth and well-being.
  • Help maintain accurate records and submit written observations on children's progress.
  • Engage children in activities that foster learning and development, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Prepare snacks and ensure a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers to provide comprehensive support for children.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
