Job Summary

Based in Kitchener, Ontario, this role is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to apply their expertise in quality assurance and control.

About the Role
The NDT Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our services meet the highest quality standards by conducting quality inspections, analyzing data, and collaborating with various departments. Key responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and updating company quality documentation, assisting in the establishment and implementation of the quality management system, and providing communication directly with customers to develop and supply components that meet or exceed their requirements.

Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a post-secondary diploma in NDE/Quality Assurance/Control or related education, as well as 2 years of experience in quality assurance functions and non-destructive testing techniques. You should have a solid knowledge of NDE/NDT principles and practices, including familiarity with the ASME Code and proficiency in MS Office. Additionally, you will require the ability to take precise measurements using specialized equipment and techniques, as well as safety procedures for radiation sources. Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and NRCan (Natural Resources Canada) is also essential.

Benefits and Compensation
This permanent position offers a competitive salary of $32.50 per hour, paid bi-weekly, along with comprehensive benefits, including dental care and extended health care. On-site parking is also available. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day, totaling 30 hours weekly, with a day shift. Please note that work must be completed on-site, with no option for remote work.
