Job Summary

The Chemical Process Operator is a key member of our production team, responsible for supporting the manufacturing process of our active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). This role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring heavy equipment, including reactors, filters, dryers, and mills, to ensure the quality and efficiency of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate production equipment, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor and record production data, identifying and reporting any issues or anomalies.
  • Collaborate with senior operators and production supervisors to optimize production processes and improve product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new procedures and protocols.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production goals.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure the integrity of production equipment and facilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and processes, applying knowledge and skills to improve production efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college diploma or CET certification preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a team environment.
