Millwright - Afternoon Shift

About the Role
This position is accountable for supporting the Maintenance function by preventing and repairing mechanical breakdowns.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems with regards to hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical problems.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) schedules on machinery and Plant Support equipment.
- Suggest preventative measures to minimize or eliminate breakdowns.
- Maintain correct safety standards at all times.
- Complete all check sheets and records as it relates to the P.M. program, Work Orders, etc.
- Member of the Emergency Response Team.
- Capable of instructing maintenance personnel in trade-related tasks and skills.
- Diagnose and repair basic electrical problems with equipment.
- Modify machinery and equipment and overhaul machines as directed.
- Install, set up, and commission new equipment.
- Aware of relevance and importance of their activities and how it affects quality and the environment for our customers.
