Job Title: Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at a state-of-the-art facility in South Barrie. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, setting up, adjusting, and maintaining equipment, as well as troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on the plant, plant grounds, machinery, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, set up, adjust, and maintain equipment
  • Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on the plant, plant grounds, machinery, and equipment
  • Perform varied mechanical duties such as dismantling, moving, repairing, and installing equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems on equipment and take steps to correct
  • Start up and shut down equipment in line with company lockout-tag-out procedures
  • Assist with installation and/or changes to the layout of machines and mechanical equipment
Requirements:
  • Certified Industrial Millwright 433A
  • Previous experience in the Automotive Industry
  • Experience in Injection Molding and Assembly is preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary
  • Fabrication experience is an asset
  • Welding experience is an asset
  • Electrical experience is an asset
  • Hydraulic experience is an asset
