Advanced Technical Support Professional for Financial Platforms

We are seeking a skilled Senior Application Technical Support Analyst to join our team at MUFG Investor Services.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in financial services, providing technical support and management of internal operations. You will be responsible for supporting and managing the delivery of internal operations and support, working with vendors and being part of an internal team managing a portfolio of in-house/vendor applications such as Investran, Anaplan, Sentry, Sungard DX within the Private Equity and Real Estate domain.
You will play a crucial role in developing and building our platforms, including:
- Providing Level 2 Incident & Problem Management support by working with vendors and/or Internal support teams to resolve technical and user issues during migrations, and other events.
- Working on developing Investran, implementing new upgrades and provide integration with upstream and downstream systems, as well as working with vendors & /or Internal support teams to resolve technical and user issues during product migration and BAU operations.
- Day-to-day monitoring of our internal processes to ensure pro-active resolution of any issues that arise.
- Documenting processes, procedures and policies as required for appropriate governance of platforms.
- Developing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the applications you manage, including system architecture, data structures, scheduled jobs, reports, and interfaces to other applications.
- Development and enhancement of the platforms to increase automation and expand the utilization of features.
- Documenting IT & Business user procedures and requirements around 'IT Change Management'. Supporting user training.
- Assisting data integration between different financial systems and ensuring accurate data exchange to support business processes.
- Supporting Project Managers in plans related to 'Business Core Operations Solutions'.
- Interacting with vendors of financial systems about technical issues and the coordination of enhancements.
- Examinations and Audits - Responding to requirements from regulators and auditors to provide support for information requests.
- Supporting the business in 'Business Continuity' and 'Disaster Recovery' initiatives.

RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a college degree in Business or IT-related field of study.
- 4+ years in a team responsible for providing analytical support and administration of business applications.
- Knowledge of System Development Lifecycle and standard software development methodologies including ITIL standards.
- Knowledge of financial applications, systems, or application architecture/platforms.
- Experience of Application/Database infrastructure setup and management.
- Experience supporting applications within desktop environments, windows servers, and AWS.
We are looking for a candidate who can bring their expertise in Microsoft Windows Server environments, Linux, Java applications, Microsoft IIS, SQL Server, SSRS, and AWS. Knowledge of System Development Lifecycle and standard software development methodologies including ITIL standards (certification will be a plus) is also highly desirable. Strong Investran and SQL knowledge, including experience with script writing and automation, is essential. Experience in technical writing/documentation skills is also beneficial.
