Job Summary

We are seeking a Financial Planner to join our team. As a Financial Planner, you will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and develop customized plans to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial planning and investment advice to clients
  • Determine client needs and provide solutions through the sales of managed products and services
  • Proactively engage with new and existing customers and prospects by providing needs-based assessments
  • Implement business development strategies to acquire new business
  • Support the achievement of sales and performance targets
  • Develop and implement a relationship management plan to meet the needs of clients
  • Respond to customer investment requests and refer customers to partners where appropriate
  • Develop solutions and make recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs

Requirements

  • Typically between 3-5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must meet the regulatory / governing body licensing and registration requirements of a Financial Planner in the province or territory of employment
  • Advanced working knowledge of financial industry
  • Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth
  • Influence skills - In-depth

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation package including a salary range of $44,500.00 - $82,500.00 and a commission structure. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.

Total Compensation Package

Our total compensation package may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards. We also offer health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
