Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Easton's Group of Hotels. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive an exceptional dining experience during their stay with us.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and has a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for overseeing the breakfast service, preparing food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Be dependable and punctual, arriving on time and dressed in a clean uniform with name tag
  • Prepare and set out all hot and cold breakfast items until the last minute we are open
  • Ensure all foods are stored at safe temperatures to prevent spoilage and contamination
  • Clean and clear tables throughout breakfast hours, removing trash and recyclables as needed
  • Receive and unpack deliveries from food vendors, rotating stock to ensure freshness and quality
  • Greet each guest warmly and assist with service as required, replenishing coffee and other beverages as needed
  • Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
  • Engage with guests to learn about their needs and preferences, passing on valuable insights to management
  • Maintain a clean and organized breakfast area, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve breakfast appeal and suggest cost-effective solutions to management
  • Support departmental efforts to maintain safety equipment and emergency procedures
  • Contribute to a positive team environment, demonstrating a friendly, cheerful, and courteous attitude at all times
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year's work experience in serving and/or the food and hospitality industry (special consideration will be given to those who demonstrate exceptional performance)
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues alike
  • Efficient and thorough in your work, with a keen attention to detail
  • Good oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to guests and team members
  • Energetic and eager to grow and develop as part of a dynamic team
Compensation Package
