Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Restaurant Operations to join our team at FMI - Pizza Hut, KFC/ PFK, Taco Bell, Burger King and Panera Bread. As a key member of our operations leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business results, developing and executing operational strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences across multiple brands.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in restaurant management, with experience in labor management, inventory control, cash handling, and employee development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will work closely with restaurant general managers, shift managers, and team members to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to our company's core values and ensuring that all team members understand and live by them
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Conduct regular store visits to provide coaching, training, and feedback to restaurant teams
  • Analyze sales data, financial reports, and other metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, labor, and sales data, using this information to inform business decisions
  • Work with restaurant teams to resolve conflicts, address customer complaints, and ensure a positive dining experience
  • Partner with franchisees and corporate contacts to drive business growth and expansion
  • Recruit, select, hire, and retain top talent, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure team members excel in their roles

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in restaurant management, with a proven track record of success in driving business results
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with restaurant software systems, including POS, labor scheduling, and inventory management
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
