Responsibilities:

  1. Provide leadership in the restaurant by recognizing and motivating Shift Leaders, Shift Managers, and Team Members; coaching and training the team to achieve operational excellence.
  2. Handle cash, reconcile cash, and manage daily paperwork.
  3. Assist in the management of day-to-day operations by managing labor, counting and ordering inventory and supplies, and developing the restaurant team.
  4. Ensure delivery on the Customer Promise through managing daily operations of the restaurant.
  5. Manage financial controls, operations, people development, customer service, and compliance across shifts for desired restaurant outcomes (i.e., increased sales, profitability, and employee retention).
  6. Perform hands-on operational work on an ongoing basis to train and develop Team Members and Shift Managers, respond to customer service needs, and role-model behaviors.
  7. Direct efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt customer delivery within established speed of service guidelines.
  8. Motivate and direct team members and Shift Managers to exceed customer expectations with food and friendly service in clean surroundings.
  9. Supervise and train team members and Shift Coordinators on team stations, products, processes, and policies.
  10. Manage cash control/security procedures, implement marketing plans, maintain inventory, manage labor, and apply financial reports across shifts to enhance restaurant results.
  11. Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety & Health Act, local health and safety codes, and corporate safety/security policies and procedures.
  12. Assist the RGM in preparing action plans to address in-store issues and effectively communicate these plans to the team.
  13. Assist the RGM with local restaurant marketing activities and new product rollouts.
  14. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, franchisees, and other corporate contacts.
  15. Recruit, select, hire, and retain effective team talent; counsel and discipline team members as necessary.
