About the Role

Fednav Limited, a leading international maritime shipping company, is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its Talent Management team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the full lifecycle of recruitment activities for Montreal and international offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Strategy Development
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop comprehensive recruitment strategies that align with the company's goals and values.
    • Utilize various sourcing methods to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Candidate Experience
    • Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience from initial contact through the entire recruitment process.
    • Provide timely communication, feedback, and updates to candidates.
  • Compliance and Diversity
    • Ensure adherence to relevant labor laws and regulations while promoting diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the recruitment process.
  • Technology and Continuous Improvement
    • Participate in the enhancement of our technology, including Workday ATS.
    • Support the adoption of Workday in the talent acquisition and onboarding activities.
  • Onboarding
    • Complete full cycle onboarding for new hires and coordinate with various departments and hiring managers to ensure all necessary equipment, access, and resources are ready for new hires on their start date.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent mix of education and experience is required; degree in business administration or human resources is preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of direct recruitment experience, either on the agency side or corporate for professional roles.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Ability to interact, influence, and negotiate with a variety of internal clients and external candidates.
    • Proactive and able to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in both French and English.
