Job Overview
RBC Bank (Georgia), National Association seeks an experienced Risk Governance Strategist to join its Group Risk Management team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is a full-time salaried position with an estimated salary of $140,000 per annum.

About the Job
This role will be responsible for assessing RBC Bank's execution of Enterprise Policy Governance requirements to ensure compliance. The incumbent will ensure that Policies, Standards, and Procedures remain current to promote safety and soundness. They will manage and support Enterprise Policy in development of new Policies, chair the monthly RBC Bank Enterprise Review and Policy Committee, and report on the Bank's Risk Appetite. Additionally, they will act as Internal and External Audit Liaison, ensuring all requests related to RBC Bank Enterprise Risk are tracked and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for assessing RBC Bank's execution of Enterprise Policy Governance requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure that Policies, Standards, and Procedures remain current to promote safety and soundness.
  • Manage and support Enterprise Policy in development of new Policies.
  • Chair the monthly RBC Bank Enterprise Review and Policy Committee.
  • Report on the Bank's Risk Appetite.
  • Act as Internal and External Audit Liaison.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a College Bachelor's Degree or Higher, 10+ years of management experience, 5+ years of risk policy experience, 3+ years of operational risk experience with policy responsibilities, and 5+ years of credit/lending experience with policy responsibilities. They should also have senior-level experience at a large financial institution in areas of risk management, policy, compliance, internal audit, and/or operational risk. Demonstrated experience and proven results leading large-scale enterprise-wide projects, strong understanding of policy governance, and ability to deliver results in leading change management processes are essential.
