We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Off-Road Maintenance Team Lead to join our team at Randstad. As a Maintenance Team Lead, you will play a key role in the maintenance and repair of Canada's Leopard 2 fleet, including the Leopard 2 battle tank.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a skilled team in the maintenance and repair of heavy duty off-road vehicles
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure optimal vehicle performance
  • Mentor and train junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of the maintenance process

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Journeyman or Red Seal certification in Heavy Equipment Technician
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy duty off-road maintenance and repair
  • Proven track record of leading teams and mentoring junior technicians

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy duty off-road vehicles and equipment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
