Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing and Inventory Management Coordinator to join our team at Vision Coatings Limited. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for coordinating the purchase of materials, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the smooth flow of supplies and materials between departments.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Inventory Management
- Compile and analyze purchase orders and instructions received from customers
- Organize and prioritize tasks to accomplish work efficiently
- Track and complete work orders, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate the movement of supplies and materials between departments, ensuring seamless logistics and minimal disruptions
- Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, supply chain performance, and other key metrics
- Communication and Collaboration
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including warehouse and production teams
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and other external partners
- Administrative and Technical Skills
- Proficient in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
- Education and Experience
- College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field (e.g., business, supply chain management)
- 2-3 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or a related field
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
