Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director of Anatomical Pathology to join our team at Cap-Acp in Thunder Bay, Ontario. As a key member of our laboratory services team, you will provide direction and supervision of clinical laboratory services, including anatomical pathology.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in general or anatomical pathology and must have or be eligible for independent licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Certification in General or Anatomical Pathology is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direction and supervision of clinical laboratory services
  • Oversee anatomical pathology services, including surgical pathology cases and cytology cases
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a generous salary range of $400,000 - $600,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a funded community visit and relocation expense reimbursement, you will also have opportunities to participate in HOCC funding, teaching, and research.
