The Opportunity


We're looking for a highly skilled Data Science Lead to spearhead our efforts in computational biology. This role offers the chance to collaborate with our expert teams and contribute to the advancement of our Therapeutic Portfolio.



Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and deploy novel approaches to patient selection and indication expansion that match our medicines to the patients who need them.
  • Collaborate with our machine learning and computational scientists to distill insights from our vast biological and chemical datasets.
  • Work closely with our data science team to develop and refine our analytical frameworks and tools.
  • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to our leadership team and external stakeholders.
  • Leverage your expertise in machine learning, statistics, and computational biology to drive business outcomes and achieve our mission.


Requirements


To excel in this role, you'll need:



  • A strong background in computational biology, data science, or a related field, with a proven track record in applying machine learning and statistical techniques to analyze complex biological data.
  • Excellent programming skills in languages like Python, R, or Java, with expertise in libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and computational biology.
