Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Computational Biologist to join our portfolio-facing data science team as a key member. As a computational lead for multiple preclinical or clinical-stage drug programs, you will have the freedom to define and execute a research strategy that drives groundbreaking discoveries from hit-identification through clinical development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design experiments and develop novel analysis methods to drive program decisions and bring life-changing therapies to patients at unprecedented speed.
- Evaluate therapeutic hypotheses using internal and external data sources to validate linkages between proposed targets and disease biology, guide multimodal SAR, decipher drug mechanism of action, and identify candidate biomarkers.
- Partner with machine learning and computational scientists to develop, deploy, and scale novel approaches to patient selection and indication expansion that match medicines to patients who need them.

Requirements:
- PhD in a relevant field (computational biology, systems biology, bioinformatics, cancer/cell biology, etc.) with a strong focus on computation and 3+ years of experience in biotech or pharma industry solving fundamental problems in oncology or drug discovery OR MS in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience in biotech or pharma industry solving fundamental problems in oncology or drug discovery.
- Expertise in applying computational methods to analyze complex biological data in high-level programming languages like Python or R.
- Experience in advancing drug programs from hit nomination through proof of concept and into clinical development (or stages within this range).
- Strong data visualization skills and ability to explain complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences using plots, documents, and presentations.
