About the Role

As the Director, Data Quality and Governance, you will be accountable for establishing and upholding enterprise-wide data principles. You will partner with functions across the business to implement data management practices and data governance. This role requires you to lead the Data Management office and play a key role in establishing the data governance and management framework. You will work closely with business functions and oversight to support the implementation of data management practices and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Foster a data-driven culture by championing the management of data as a strategic organizational asset. • Design and implement a data management framework that includes metadata management, data catalog, lineage, and data pipelines controls. • Build and maintain a Data Quality program that ensures data remains accurate, consistent, and dependable throughout its lifecycle. • Safeguard data privacy and security by implementing measures to secure sensitive information and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. • Manage data access and usability by enabling smooth access and utilization of data resources across departments. • Empower data-driven decision-making by ensuring the organization leverages high-quality data for reporting, strategic insights, analytics, and informed decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in data management, governance, or analytics, with 5+ years in a leadership role. • Hands-on experience implementing, expanding, and using one or more leading data quality software products at scale. • Highly skilled in data management tooling across AWS, Azure, and experience managing or implementing a Data Governance Framework at an Enterprise-Wide level. • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and motivate team members and foster collaboration across business and technical units.
