About the Role

Canonical is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our partner marketing efforts as a Marketing Partner Lead. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives with our global partners, driving growth and revenue through integrated partner marketing programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a Team of Partner Marketing Managers: Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals to develop and execute partner marketing strategies.
  • Grow Partner Sales: Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive sales growth through our partner ecosystem, including system integrators, public cloud providers, device manufacturers, and semiconductor companies.
  • Develop Scalable Marketing Frameworks: Create and implement scalable marketing frameworks that can be leveraged globally to drive marketing consistency and efficiency.
  • Grow Value Proposition: Develop and execute co-marketing programs to grow the value proposition of our partner relationships and attract new partners.
  • Establish Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with partner sales, channel, and marketing teams to improve partner sales potential for Canonical products and services.
  • Develop Co-Marketing Strategies: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of partner business strategies and objectives, crafting co-marketing strategies and programs that benefit both Canonical and partners.
Requirements
  • Experience in B2B Marketing: Proven experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on strategic corporate partnerships and co-marketing initiatives.
  • Enterprise Software Experience: Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or silicon industries preferred.
  • Strong Relationship Management: Strong customer/partner relationship management skills, with a proven track record of delivering strong results and innovation.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven analytical skills, able to assess opportunities and make decisions on ROI and advantages of programs and investments.
  • Growth Mindset: A growth mindset, with a willingness to think big and take on risk.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
