Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Dawson Creek Dental Centre.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
- Assist dentists with various tasks, including preparing plaster models and moulds, ordering dental and office supplies, and performing administrative functions
- Prepare dental instruments and filling materials, and maintain and order supplies
- Provide excellent patient care and education on oral hygiene
- Supervise students in training and schedule and confirm appointments
- Record dental procedures performed on patients and invoice patients for dental services
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a dental setting
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dental plan
- Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
- Permanent position with 30 hours per week
- English language
