About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Dawson Creek Dental Centre. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Assist dentists with various tasks, including preparing plaster models and moulds, ordering dental and office supplies, and maintaining and ordering equipment.
  • Perform administrative functions, such as scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and recording dental procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, participating in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a dental setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
