About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chair-side Assistant to join our team at Dawson Creek Dental Centre. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with dental procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Order and maintain dental and office supplies, ensuring our practice is well-stocked and equipped to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing and insurance claims.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a dental setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
