Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Philthy Philly's Cheesesteak & Poutinerie. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our high-quality menu items are prepared to perfection.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
  • Excellent culinary skills, with knowledge of menu planning, recipe development, and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on quality
