Job Title: Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Group Benefits Solutions team at Health Association Nova Scotia. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative support to our benefits administration teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the benefits administration teams, including document management, data entry, and composing and editing correspondence and reports.
  • Manage multiple tasks with strict timelines, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and files, adhering to records retention and filing processes.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, members, and employees, providing outstanding customer service.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in administration or a related field.
  • Knowledge of employee group benefits and plan administration is an asset.
  • Advanced user of MS365 tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
