About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at SUBWAY. As a Food Service Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive high-quality food and beverages in a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Ensure that all dishes, glasses, and utensils are washed and sanitized properly.
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare and cook food items according to SUBWAY's recipes and standards.
    • Portion and package food items for customers.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and responding to customer inquiries.
    • Ensure that customers receive their orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive and store inventory in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
    • Support and assist other team members as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
