About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Spring Making Machine Operator to join our team at Dendoff Springs Ltd. as a Machine Set-up Specialist. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in metal product fabrication and machine set-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate or tend automatic or multi-purpose machines to produce metal parts and metal products
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and set up machines accordingly
  • Clean, polish, file or otherwise finish products to meet quality standards
  • Check products for quality and other specifications, ensuring they meet customer requirements
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, including CNC machines
  • Fitting and assembling components using hand and power tools, ensuring accurate and precise results
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce complex metal parts and products
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand work requirements and set up machines accordingly
  • Program CNC machine tools to produce high-quality metal parts and products
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in metal product fabrication and machine set-up
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
  • Willing to relocate for this position
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity
