We are seeking a skilled Spring Making Machine Set-up Operator to join our team at Dendoff Springs Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating spring making machines, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate spring making machines, including CNC machines, to produce metal parts and products.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to determine work requirements and ensure accurate production.
  • Clean, polish, file, or otherwise finish products to meet quality standards.
  • Check products for quality and other specifications, making adjustments as needed.
  • Fit and assemble components using hand and power tools, ensuring precise measurements and quality control.
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  • Set up machines and equipment, ensuring proper calibration and alignment.
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to program and operate equipment.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand work requirements and ensure accurate production.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as metal fabrication or manufacturing.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment required.
