About the Role:

The NORM Labourer is a key member of our team, responsible for assisting with the decontamination and disposal of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) waste. As a NORM Labourer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe management of NORM waste and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the detection, surveying, handling, and decontamination of oilfield equipment and waste
  • Clean equipment using high-pressure water blast equipment
  • Sample, document, and store waste
  • Maintain the decontamination equipment and facility
  • Perform daily operations and inspections to meet client and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Basic computer skills
  • Preference given to those with post-secondary education or oil field experience and relevant certifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
