Job Summary:

The NORM Labourer is a key member of our team, responsible for assisting with the decontamination and disposal of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) waste. This role requires a strong focus on safety and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the detection and safe management of NORM waste
  • Operate high-pressure water blast equipment for cleaning and decontamination
  • Sample, document, and store waste for further analysis
  • Maintain the decontamination equipment and facility to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct daily operations and inspections to meet client and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Basic computer skills
  • Preference given to candidates with post-secondary education or oil field experience and relevant certifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
