At Secure Energy, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated NORM Labourer to join our team. As a NORM Labourer, you will play a critical role in assisting with the decontamination and disposal of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) waste.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the detection and safe management of NORM waste
- Operate high-pressure water blast equipment for cleaning and decontamination
- Sample, document, and store waste for further analysis
- Maintain the decontamination equipment and facility to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct daily operations and inspections to meet client and regulatory requirements
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Basic computer skills
- Preference given to candidates with post-secondary education or oil field experience and relevant certifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
