Chief Development Officer

Starkloff Disability Institute (SDI) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Development Officer to lead our fundraising efforts and drive growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive development strategy to achieve our fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic development plan to achieve annual fundraising targets
  • Lead a team of development professionals to achieve fundraising goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners
  • Oversee the development and implementation of marketing and communications plans
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Board of Directors to develop and implement a successful development strategy
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of successful fundraising experience, preferably at social service organizations
  • Proven track record of achieving fundraising goals and growing development teams
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with donors, stakeholders, and team members
  • Bachelor's Degree required
