About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Development Officer to join our team at Starkloff Disability Institute. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve our organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan to meet or exceed annual fundraising targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and foundation officials to secure significant funding for our programs and services.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of marketing and communications initiatives to promote our organization's mission and programs.
  • Supervise a team of fundraising professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure successful fundraising efforts.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Board of Directors to develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of successful fundraising experience, preferably in a non-profit or social service organization.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with experience in motivating teams to meet goals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, and foundation officials.
  • CFRE certification preferred.
What We Offer
  • Salary range: $125,000 – $140,000.
