We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this position is $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionThis full-time role will involve providing input and support for the development of several new components to the Central Island Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program (CICAPP), including telepsychiatry outreach, consultation to the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Service, and mental health day programs for children.
You will also be responsible for consultation/liaison for admitted children and youth at NRGH, shared with one other Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Additionally, there may be opportunities for consultation with the local Child and Youth Mental Health Team operated by the Ministry for Child and Family Development.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License - Provisional
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Eligible
