About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter and Decorator to join our team at Lalton Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all painting and decorating work is completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, including walls, ceilings, and floors.
  • Painting and Decorating: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Equipment and Machinery Operation: Operate airless spray equipment, brush painting, and roller painting.
  • Surface Preparation Equipment: Use sandblasters to prepare surfaces for painting.
  • Wall Covering: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
  • Weight Handling: Lift and move materials weighing up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Work Environment

This role involves working outdoors and at heights. You will be required to work at various locations, including construction sites and client premises.
