About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Painters and Decorators Supervisor to join our team at Brushup Painting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our painting and decorating projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of painters and decorators to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to company standards.
  • Resource Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support project requirements.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for projects to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
  • Personnel Management: Recruit, hire, and train new team members, as well as recommend personnel actions to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to company standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Work Setting: Construction, commercial, industrial, maintenance, and repair environments.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, reliable, and a team player.
