About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter and Decorator to join our team at Enclave Contracting Ltd. as a key member of our painting and decorating team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, and apply paint, wallpaper and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Wall Covering Specialist: Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
  • Colour Consultation: Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings, taking into account their personal preferences and design goals.
  • Scaffolding and Rigging: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as required, ensuring a safe and stable working environment.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan and coordinate the work to ensure timely completion.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
