Tourism Development Officer II

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in project teams to develop and implement tourism strategies.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for tourism development.
- Engage with stakeholders to promote tourism initiatives and support local businesses.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the city's tourism industry.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with city goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Degree in economics, business administration, or a related field.
- Three years of experience in economic or industrial development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Will be required to travel to various work locations and provide own transportation.
- Must have a valid driver's licence.
- Working beyond normal working hours and out of town travel may be required from time to time.
