We are seeking a skilled Industrial Machinery Specialist to join our team at K-Indu. Ltd.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with an estimated salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location. The successful candidate will work 40-60 hours per week in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in various aspects of industrial machinery operation and maintenance
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in complex systems
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts to ensure optimal performance
  • Supervise other workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects and repairs
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery to prevent breakdowns
  • Install new machinery and equipment to meet production demands
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy loads
Requirements
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Hoisting and Rigging Training
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with conveyor systems, fans, blowers, hydraulic systems, and power tools
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding environments
