We are seeking a highly organized and reliable individual to join our team as a Culinary Professional at Drifters Motel & Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they are aware of all health and safety procedures.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that they are clean and well-maintained.
- Organized: You will be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Reliability: You will be reliable and able to work independently.
- Work Term: This is a permanent position, offering a stable and secure work environment.
- Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Hours: The working hours are 30 hours per week, offering a good work-life balance.
