About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at ONroute. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure adequate coverage and high-quality service.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and preferences.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, providing insights for business improvement.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, and sales, ensuring data integrity.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with noisy, wet/damp, and hot conditions.
  • Work Setting
    • Fast food outlet or concession.
  • Physical Demands
    • Standing for extended periods, physically demanding work, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
