Job Title: Restaurant Shift Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team at Northwood Restaurant Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, including hiring food service staff and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates and prepare and submit reports.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- College/CEGEP education and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and maintain a client-focused approach.
Work Environment: Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a team of 5-10 people. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including parking and a permanent work term.
