Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at Northwood Restaurant Ltd.
Job Summary:The Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintaining a fast-paced and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including hiring and training new staff members
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and prepare budget and cost estimates
- Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for the chef
- Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
- Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 5-10 people
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
- Parking available
- Permanent employment
- 40 hours per week
