Nourishment Specialist for Cancer Care

CancerCare Manitoba is a leading provider of cancer control and blood disorder treatment services in Manitoba.
We are seeking a highly skilled Nourishment Specialist for Cancer Care to join our team. This role involves working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide medical nutrition therapy to patients.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical dietetics, excellent communication skills, and experience working in a fast-paced environment. A person-centred model of care is used to provide outpatient medical nutrition therapy.
This position requires a Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutritional Sciences and completion of an accredited dietetic internship program. The ideal candidate will also be a member of the College of Dietitians of Manitoba or other provincial RD college/regulatory body.
In addition to providing high-quality patient care, this role will involve developing and delivering educational programs to patients, families, and staff. The Nourishment Specialist will also participate in research and mentor dietetic interns as part of their professional development.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with public speaking and proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, are also essential.
We offer a competitive salary of $43,297 per annum, based on 7.75 hours worked per day. In addition to your annual salary, you can expect to earn up to $41,703 per annum in hourly wages, depending on your level of experience.
