About the Role:
The Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology at CancerCare Manitoba is seeking a talented Medical Oncologist to join our team. As a Cancer Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with malignant disorders, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and participating in teaching programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care to patients with cancer, developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in research programs, contributing to the advancement of cancer treatment and care.
- Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows, promoting excellence in medical education.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical and research programs, enhancing the quality of care and services.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, aligning with the goals and objectives of the department.
Qualifications:
- Specialty qualifications in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
- Certification in Medical Oncology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada is preferred.
