Job Summary:

Sirius Personnel is a leading placement and headhunting agency specializing in sales and marketing professionals. We are currently seeking a highly skilled District Sales Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of success in selling industrial abrasives to distributors and retailers. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the construction and decorative markets, with a strong understanding of the Ontario territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business plans to increase sales and market share in the Ontario region.
  • Conduct outside sales visits with end-users and channel partners to enhance the company's market presence.
  • Assist in developing and conducting training programs for end-users, distributors, and their sales representatives.
  • Present, sell, and provide training on innovative products and services directly at customer sites.
  • Negotiate long-term contracts with clients.
  • Collaborate with management on the creation of marketing plans and the strategic direction for the company's business development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in our CRM system.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events as required.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the industrial, construction, or decorative markets.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to walk on construction projects and garages, as well as work early morning hours.
  • Periodic attendance at weekend events.
  • Successful territory planning knowledge.
  • Experience preparing professional sales presentations.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires 80% travel and 20% office work. The ideal candidate will be based in the GTA and will be required to work from home.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

On-the-job training provided.

Very little overnight travel required.
