About the Role

Sirius Personnel is a leading recruitment agency specializing in placing top talent in sales and marketing positions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Sales Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a sales territory in Ontario, focusing on the construction and decoration segments. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and growing new business opportunities
  • Increasing key accounts and developing new business within the Ontario market
  • Conducting outside sales visits with end users and channel partners
  • Developing and conducting training programs for end users, distributors, and their sales representatives
  • Managing business plans for the assigned customer base to effectively maintain and grow sales
  • Negotiating long-term contracts with clients
  • Collaborating with management on marketing plans and strategic direction for business development
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in our CRM system
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

  • At least 3-5 years of sales experience in the industrial, construction, or decorative market
  • Knowledge of the abrasives sector is a plus
  • Successful territory planning experience
  • Experience preparing professional sales presentations
  • A valid driver's license with no criminal background
  • A vehicle that can hold small demo equipment
  • The ability to walk on construction projects and garages
What We Offer

Sirius Personnel offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Base salary: $75,000-$83,000
  • Commissions/Bonus: 20% on base salary (divided quarterly)

Working Conditions
